Magnetic Behavior of Electroless Nickel Layers

Depending on the phosphorus content, electroless nickel layers are magnetic or nearly non-magnetic: low-phosphorus layers are usually magnetic, while high-phosphorus layers are nearly non-magnetic. This must be taken into account for sensor technology, drive systems, or handling.
