Nickel-Phosphorus Alloy (NiP)

Nickel-phosphorus alloys are the layers formed during electroless nickel plating, with phosphorus contents of approximately 1 to 14 percent. As phosphorus content decreases, hardness and wear resistance increase, while a higher phosphorus content improves corrosion protection.
