Metallization of Plastics

Metallization of plastics refers to processes used to provide non-conductive plastic surfaces with a metal layer, for example for EMI shielding or decorative effects. Pre-activation is often carried out chemically, followed by galvanic deposition of a metal such as copper, nickel, or chrome.
