Hardness Testing (Vickers)

In the Vickers hardness test, a diamond indenter is pressed into the surface under defined conditions, and hardness is calculated from the resulting indentation. Measurements include as-delivered hardness, coating hardness, and hardness after thermal curing, including selectively in layer systems or cross-sections.
